Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
This policy explains what Blockdraft collects when you read the journal or use the Blockbook companion app, and what we do with it. We keep this short on purpose — if a section is unclear, write to hello@blockdraft.shop.
What we collect
Reading Blockdraft's journal doesn't require an account. Standard web server logs may record your browser type, general location inferred from IP address, and the pages you visit, which is normal for any website and is used only to understand how the site is used and to fix technical problems.
If you submit the newsletter form, we store the email address you provide so we can send occasional notes. If you use Blockbook, the app stores the block measurements, version history, and notes you enter, since that data is the entire point of the app.
What we don't collect
We don't ask for your full body measurements to read the journal — those are only relevant if you choose to enter them into Blockbook. We don't sell reader data to third parties, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers on the journal pages.
How information is used
- To operate and improve the journal and Blockbook.
- To send the newsletter to readers who subscribed, and nothing else.
- To respond to messages sent to our contact address.
- To diagnose technical issues, such as a page failing to load correctly.
Cookies and local storage
The newsletter form uses your browser's local storage to remember that you've subscribed, so the confirmation message doesn't repeat unnecessarily. This stays on your device and isn't transmitted anywhere. We don't use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
Data retention
Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or request removal. Blockbook data is kept for as long as your account is active, or until you delete a block or your account within the app.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email we send, or by writing to us directly. You can request a copy of, or deletion of, any information we hold about you by emailing hello@blockdraft.shop.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects how your information is handled, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the journal.
